Exit and Prevention – Taking Action Against Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation

An exit and prevention project against human trafficking and sexual exploitation. RESET offers low-threshold, mobile, and digital support for women and trans* individuals in prostitution. Through outreach social work, cyber streetwork, and strong networking, the project facilitates the exit from cycles of violence and promotes social participation.

Stop Buying Sex

Take a stand! Sign the petition!

Campaign to ban the purchase of sex and end prostitution. KARO e.V. advocates politically for the protection of those affected and draws attention to violence, human trafficking, and human rights violations. The goal is to reform the Prostitution Act and bring about a shift in societal attitudes through education and the petition.

AGIS

2005–2007

An EU-funded project aimed at combating human trafficking, forced prostitution, and the sexual exploitation of children. The project focused on cross-border cooperation, training for government agencies, and public awareness campaigns. It resulted in the development of best-practice approaches for victim protection.

EQUAL – Supporting the Reintegration of Victims of Human Trafficking

Project Partnership “Supporting the Reintegration of Victims of Human Trafficking – Strengthening National Actors”

An EU project aimed at improving the social and professional integration of victims. Through counseling, training, and international cooperation, new approaches to reintegration were developed and sustainable network structures were established.

Training Together

An international EU project aimed at training professionals to work with victims of sexual violence, particularly children. The goal was to strengthen professional competencies, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and develop common quality standards across Europe.

Against Turning a Blind Eye

“Don’t Look Away” Project

A reporting platform and awareness campaign against the sexual exploitation of children abroad. Travelers are encouraged to report suspected cases easily and without hesitation. The project strengthens international cooperation and promotes taking an active interest rather than looking away.

Low-Threshold, Anonymous, and Secure Online Counseling for Survivors

A low-threshold, anonymous, and secure online counseling service for people who have experienced complex forms of violence. Through email and chat, KARO e.V. provides support regardless of location or time and creates new avenues for help, especially for highly vulnerable survivors.
