Our services are open to everyone: women, men, children, adolescents, and relatives of those affected.
Our family assistance program supports socially disadvantaged families in the Czech border region. Once a month, they receive food, hygiene products, clothing, and toys for their children.
Many families live in very cramped and poor conditions. They lack places of refuge and often have no sanitary facilities. Children do not have their own beds, no place to do their homework, and no regular supply of fresh clothes or healthy food. They come into contact with drugs, violence, or prostitution at an early age and are sometimes at serious risk.
Family assistance is supported by Sternstunden e.V.
Our regular visits allow us to monitor the children's condition and act quickly if they are at risk. Parents' trust grows because we provide respectful support. This enables us to accompany them in small but important everyday steps, such as visits to the doctor or applying for an ID card. KARO e.V. also covers these costs so that the children can participate in activities such as the KARO summer camp.
Family assistance is an important way to better protect children in the long term and provide them with further support.
