Our organization has been giving victims of violence a voice for over 30 years—and we create hope where others look away.

For over 30 years, KARO e.V. has been supporting people who have experienced unspeakable violence. Together with Cathrin Schauer-Kelpin, the head of our association, we give a voice to those who are often overlooked—and create places where safety, dignity, and hope can grow again. Our work begins where others look away: directly on site, in acute crises, in moments of greatest need.

With heart, courage, and understanding, we accompany those affected on their journey to a new life. To achieve all this, we need people who believe in our mission and support us along the way. Together, we can change what has become unbearable for many.
